Find Out How to Respond at NCM.org
Nazarene Disaster Reponse director Steve Creech has urged Nazarene churches to give to NCM International -- http://www.ncm.org /haitiearthquake -- and to pray for the relief efforts, but NOT to self-deploy. Churches and people should not insist on going on their own, this would only be counter-productive. There is not enough food to feed nor shelter to house workers who have not been requested by the NCM Coordinator in Haiti. There are multiple ways to respond; please use the aforementioned link to view them.
The outpouring of response has been remarkable. It is a testament to Christ's love that so many concerned Nazarenes have responded with generosity of materials and spirit. Please, please, continue to pray for the 118,000 Haitian Nazarenes and the rest of the people of Haiti. For many of them, the suffering is just beginning.
