About: The Living Witness Award is a means of recognizing churches and Compassionate Ministry Centers (CMC) who are engaged in the advancement of the kingdom of God through meeting the temporal needs of the poor and marginalized in our communities through compassionate ministries. We want to celebrate the tangible expressions of God’s love for those who are often forgotten and overlooked within our communities. Churches and CMC’s who are engaging in practical and compassionate responses to human needs are actively engaging and challenging the social ills of our times. It is our desire through Nazarene Compassionate Ministries USA/Canada to tell the stories of what the people of God are doing to establish Christ’s presence in this world. As we pray, “thy Kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven”, Living Witness Award recipients serve as expressions of answers to this prayer. Come join the celebration as we tangibly lift up the name of Jesus. Criteria: Recipients of the Living Witness Award must meet the following criteria:
